Dr. Tomás Ortiz:, Director of Research Projects, leaves no room for doubt when it comes to his motivation.
"My driving force is improving people's quality of life, above and beyond the technological challenge,"he explains. Guided by that commitment, he has led pioneering research aimed at enabling blind children to perceive the world through their skin, gaining greater autonomy in their movements and, perhaps, changing the course of their lives in the process.
In this interview, he reveals the journey behind validating his hypothesis and shares the key stages of a project where neuroscience, international collaboration, and the vision of a venture builder come together.
