Metaworld Congress 2025: Madrid acoge el gran encuentro del futuro digital, impulsado por Bolboreta Innova Group

Some dreams are meant to come true, while others serve as reminders that it is always worth trying one more time. With this idea at its heart, Bolboreta Innova Group Bolboreta Innova Group and Ronald McDonald House Charities hosted Building a Dream, an interactive experience inspired by the children's book "Surcar un sueño" ("Navigating a Dream"), featuring Cairo, a little pig determined to achieve what initially seems impossible: to fly.
The workshop, held at the Ronald McDonald House Madrid, located within the Niño Jesús Hospital campus, brought together children, teenagers, and families for a day designed to encourage creativity, share meaningful moments, and create positive memories together.
The workshop began with a shared reading of the story, followed by an open discussion about its central messages. Using Cairo's experiences as a starting point, participants reflected on themes such as perseverance, the importance of trying again when things do not go as planned, learning from mistakes, and having the courage to pursue what inspires us.
Afterwards, attendees worked in teams to design and build their own solutions to help Cairo take to the skies. The activity concluded with prototype testing, a shared reflection on lessons learned, and a celebration of the teamwork and creativity demonstrated by each group.
The workshop forms part of Bolboreta Impacta, the corporate social responsibility division of Bolboreta Innova Group, which focuses on initiatives with sustainable social impact.
"When we created Cairo's story, we wanted to convey that dreams can seem unattainable until someone decides to try one more time. Seeing children, teenagers, and families embrace that message and transform it into a shared experience is probably the greatest reward a project like this can offer," explained Itzal Arbide, CEO of Bolboreta Innova Group.
For Ronald McDonald House Charities, the initiative aligns closely with its mission. "Ronald McDonald Houses aim to provide much more than accommodation. They also seek to create environments where families can share positive moments, briefly disconnect from the challenges of everyday life, and continue building memories together. Workshops like this help create exactly those spaces for wellbeing and connection."
Through reading, creativity, and teamwork, the activity transformed a children's story into a real experience of participation and shared discovery. Because sometimes helping a little pig achieve his dream is also a way of reminding us that imagination, hope, and the support of those around us can take children much further than they ever thought possible.
