Bolboreta Innova Group, the ecosystem that connects science and the market to transform knowledge into real-world solutions, and Vrulé, a social enterprise dedicated to hospitality training for people with disabilities, have reached an agreement to create the Vrulé Hospitality School, a project focused on training and workplace inclusion within the hospitality industry.

The agreement will support the development of a hospitality training initiative designed to improve employment opportunities for people with disabilities. As part of Bolboreta Impacta, the company's corporate social responsibility division dedicated to promoting projects with sustainable social impact, the school will combine adapted training with practical experience delivered through a restaurant-school open to the public. The objective is to bring students into direct contact with a real working environment. Through training pathways closely linked to professional practice, the initiative aims to facilitate access to employment in the hospitality sector while establishing itself as an inclusive learning space that strengthens both autonomy and employability.

Workplace inclusion for people with disabilities remains a challenge in the hospitality sector

According to the Report on the Labour Market for People with Disabilities published by Spain's State Public Employment Service (SEPE), only one in ten hospitality-sector contracts registered during 2024, approximately 25,400 contracts, corresponded to people with disabilities. For this reason, the development of adapted training pathways and practical work-based experiences remains essential to creating sustainable employment opportunities.

Against this backdrop, Vrulé was founded with the objective of training people with disabilities for careers in hospitality through a professional and demanding approach aligned with real market needs. The model combines adapted training with practical experience at Vrutal Club, a restaurant-school open to the public where students learn in an authentic working environment. The proposal also includes complementary initiatives such as Vrulé Catering and a dedicated Employment Support Service, which helps prepare participants for the labour market while facilitating relationships with employers and supporting long-term job placements.

This initiative aligns closely with the principles that define Bolboreta's philosophy, whose mission is to connect knowledge with projects that generate meaningful improvements in people's lives through socially impactful initiatives. Through Bolboreta Impacta, the group channels projects of this nature, prioritizing social contribution over traditional investment objectives. In this regard, the organization highlights the value of Vrulé's model due to both its long-term viability and its positive social impact, focused on training and workplace inclusion for people with disabilities.

"This agreement allows us to support a project that combines professional excellence with a clear employability objective in a sector capable of generating meaningful employment opportunities. Our goal is to help build a bridge between talent and the labour market through a rigorous approach with a strong social purpose," said Itzal Arbide, CEO of Bolboreta Innova Group.

For Sandra Cabezuelo, Co-Founder and CEO of Vrulé, "the collaboration with Bolboreta strengthens our ambition to consolidate a genuine learning environment where adapted training exists alongside professional practice. Our purpose is to expand opportunities and demonstrate, through real results, the value of talent when it is given the right support."
