CONTEXT
The client needed an internal system to organize and leverage its historical portfolio of technical project references. The goal was to standardize information, streamline commercial searches, and generate consistent documentation to support proposals and internal communication. The project emerged as part of a broader internal digitalization effort, aimed at improving control, classification, and publication of project fact sheets. Over time, the system became a key asset for activating the company’s internal knowledge—enabling its reuse across commercial, technical, and proposal processes
THE TECHNOLOGICAL CHALLENGE
From a CTO perspective, the challenge was to build an internal web application capable of importing data from CSV sources (Navision / Dynamics 365), validating and classifying it, enriching it with documentation, and publishing it in multiple formats—while ensuring permission control and full change traceability. All of this needed to run on the client’s existing environment (Windows / ASP and relational databases), guaranteeing stability, performance, and operational continuity within the corporate intranet.
